Today, an info session was held in Ranilug about the first phase of the grant scheme for the development of agriculture and rural entrepreneurship in Kosovo. The Minister for Communities and Return emphasized that this program is an important step in empowering non-majority communities and promised the full support of the Ministry to all beneficiaries. "Our goal is to give people in the countryside a chance to start or improve their businesses and stay at homeplace," said the minister.
The first phase of the grant scheme will be open from 16 September to 1 November 2025. This scheme, implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Communities and Returns and GIZ, with co-financing from BMZ, provides grants for equipment worth from 1,000 to 10,000 euros. Individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups and farmers from non-majority communities are eligible to apply, and the projects must be profit-oriented and implemented in rural areas.
