Today, the foundation stone for the construction of a new house for the returnee family Mitić was laid in the village of Dobrotin. The cornerstone was symbolically laid by the Minister for Communities and Returns, Nenad Rašić, and Anna Rostocka, Head of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM). Today’s event officially marks the start of another important project aimed at preserving and improving the living conditions of returnee families.
This initiative is being implemented in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), as part of a broader strategy that includes long-term support for the most vulnerable families.
Minister Rashiq once again demonstrated his commitment and personal responsibility towards every person who decides to stay and survive in their homes. His continued support for returnees, through concrete projects like this one, gives hope that life in many communities can be dignified and safe.
“Our goal is clear – we want every returning family to have a roof over their heads, feel safe and receive the support they deserve. Today we send a clear message to the Mitić family – you are not alone,” said Minister Rashić.
Building a new home for the Mitić family is another step towards creating a more sustainable and just society, in which every voice and every need is heard and respected.
