The Minister of the Ministry for Communities and Return, Nenad Rašić, hosted today in an  important meeting the ambassador of Germany in Kosovo, Jörn Rohde. The meeting took place within the framework of the discussion about the elections in the four municipalities in the North of Kosovo and finding possible forms of support in solving the current challenges in the North. The creation of legal and technical conditions was considered an accelerated need in the electoral process. The meeting also examined the different ways to promote the values of reconciliation and cooperation, to ensure a more stable future for all citizens of Kosovo. It was considered extremely necessary to create the conditions for healthy, peaceful and stable relations between the two communities, to break the cycles of crises and confrontations in order to move forward decisively in their European integration. This is an opportunity that both sides should use.

During the meeting, they expressed their common commitment and the need to improve the democratic processes in Kosovo and to promote the values of reconciliation and cooperation for the future of the region.
