The Minister of the Ministry for Communities and Return of the Republic of Kosovo, Nenad Rašić , together with the Deputy Minister of the Ministry for Communities and Return, Mevlud Sinani, received in an official meeting the member of the Parliament of the United Kingdom and   chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the UK Parliament, Alicia Kearns.

The meeting took place at a time when Kosovo is still working to find a sustainable path towards development and sustainable future. In this context, the role of different communities is very important, and this conversation emphasized efforts to ensure their inclusion and protection.

The main topic of the meeting was the development of community projects in Kosovo. This is a rather complex issue, as Kosovo has a significant number of different ethnic and religious communities. Their inclusion and development is essential for the purposes of expanding dialogue and building a just and equal society.

In this context, the discussions at the meeting focused on concrete projects that can help improve living conditions for different communities, including challenges in economic development, education, health, and human rights. Minister Rašić and MP Kearns shared information and experiences from their respective projects to assess what works best and what could be improved. 

The strategy for the protection of communities was another key issue discussed at the meeting. Kosovo has a rich history of ethnic tensions and human rights, and efforts to ensure the protection of communities are important for security and stability in the country. Minister Rašić   and MP Kearns reviewed the options to strengthen the existing legislation and mechanisms for the protection of communities, as well as to take new steps in this direction. 

The meeting also highlighted the importance of cooperation and their commitment to work together on these important issues.

Minister Rašić's meeting with MP Kearns was an important step towards deepening international cooperation and addressing development and security challenges in Kosovo. This meeting marked the common will to improve the living conditions and the rights of the communities in this country and to create a fairer and more equal society for all citizens of Kosovo.
