Minister Nenad Rasic held the final conference for the media in 2022

At the end of 2022, the Minister for Communities and Return, Nenad Rašić, presented the achievements and touched on all the characteristic aspects of the management process in the year we are leaving behind at a media conference.

Given that only 15 days have passed since he was appointed to this position, he presented his achievements, but at the same time, his priority and goals in achieving even better results than achieved so far. Minister Rašić stated during the conference that in 2023 the ministry he leads will focus on several issues such as: Building houses for returnees and urban return, representation of Serbs in institutions, return of displaced persons and sustainable solutions, opening of new jobs. for communities, the operationalization of the database for displaced persons as well as the finalization of the draft strategic document for the promotion of the rights of communities.106 community projects were implemented and 100 jobs were provided. The Ministry in cooperation with the European Union is in the fourth phase of implementation of the Community Stabilization Program. From the start of implementation from January 2020 until now, the EU-CSP IV program of 289 approved projects has implemented a total of 231 projects, of which 106 projects were implemented in 2022.The project "Return and reintegration to Kosovo" financed by the EU, co-financed by the Ministry of Communities and Return, and implemented by IOM is in the fifth phase of development in 12 municipalities of Kosovo (Peć, Klina, Istok, Oblić, Kosovo Polje, Gračanica, Novo Brdo, Kamenica, Štrpce, Prizren and the municipality of Djakovica).In the period January 2022 - December 2022, 35 families with 180 individuals decided to return. So far, the returnees have been provided with assistance in food, hygiene, furniture, household appliances, social-economic assistance and assistance to generate income.Finally, Minister Rashic thanked the media for their participation and hoped for their cooperation and contribution in informing the public about these issues.
