We note with regret that a criminal act was committed early on Sunday morning by unknown perpetrators in the village of Veriq-municipality of Istog, who set it on fire and thereby caused a great material damage to the family of the returnees, which according to the schedule were to return in their homes in the incoming weeks. 

Well organized and with an obvious purpose, they started a fire that completely destroyed the interior of the house. 

We request from the police and all relevant institutions to reveal the perpetrators of this act as soon as possible, while the Ministry of Communities and Returns has taken measures for reconstruction and restoration of the damaged house, since Monday a few hours after the act was committed.

The policy of the government and the Ministry of Communities and Returns have always been and will be, that the institution provides a stable return for every citizen who has lived in Kosovo and wants to return.
